Dr. Harry Wong, Horace Mann Leagues' "Outstanding Public
Educator" award.
Presented on Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Annual Meeting of the League at
the San Francisco Marriott.
Harry Wong is possibly the most motivating, exciting and dynamic speaker on classroom management and education today. But, most important, his presentations result in positive audience behavior change. He leaves his audiences with practical, useful techniques for how to succeed in the classroom. He has given some 3,000 presentations to over a million people in every American state and Canadian province and in South America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
His expertise is in classroom management and student motivation. Although Dr. Harry Wong regards himself as "a plain old classroom teacher," his record shows that he has been an excellent teacher who has shared his success with thousands of teachers internationally.
