The Horace Mann League, founded in 1922, is committed to the beliefs of Horace Mann - the separation of church and state, the use of tax dollars for public schools only, and the strengthening of public education in every community.

The Horace Mann League does this by: Collaboration with other organizations and associations in legal briefs at the Unites States Supreme Court level on behalf of public education. Recognition of educational, civic, and political leaders who support strong public education throughout our nation. Promotion of the members of the League as the national, state, and community leaders who exemplify a commitment to public education. |
