The search engine project is designed to improve your ability to find information on the Internet.

1. There are a large variety of search engines. The most common are Yahoo and Google.

2. Select at least three different search engines and give the advantages and limitations of each. (A good way to find out information about search engines is to go to "Google" and type in "comparing search engines."

3. In a word processing document (Title page, table of contents, page numbers, references, etc., answer the following questions:
a. What is your favorite search engine and why?
b. What other search engines did you investigate?
d. When you entered "creating web pages," how many hits did you receive with your three search engines?
e. When you entered "NCLB" how many hits did you receive with each search engine?
f. Send your report as an attachment, via email.
