Propose:

The Course Evaluation instrument is designed to provide the instructor with feedback about the student's perceptions of the value of the content and delivery of the course material. In addition, information may be used to determine if the instructor is rehired to teach additional courses and can be used as supportive information for application as a full-time instructor.

Procedures:

For classes without a Liaison (all classes except counseling cohorts and MIT cohorts):

  1. The evaluation forms will be given to you (either mailed to your home or hand-delivered to your classroom) before the last weekend of your class.
  2. A student is to hand out the forms, collect them, and seal them in the envelope provided.
  3. Return the evaluation forms to the regional office manager/administrative assistant.

There are self-addressed envelopes provided for you to mail the evaluations, or you can ask a student you trust to return them to the appropriate office.

For classes with a Liaison (counseling and MIT cohorts only):

  1. The Liaison will hand out the evaluation forms to each student after the last class, collect them, and seal them in an envelope.
  2. The Liaison will return the evaluation forms to the appropriate person (as indicated above.)
